Wants a fast driver orientated car
Has TDI beetle
Something doesn’t add up.
It also seems like this lady knows exactly what she wants.
...or I can use the payout to get something slightly bigger like a GTI or possibly a Golf R.
Uh ... yeah ... do that.

Newer Forester XT would be perfect for her.

No, she should get one of these:

Numbers 2, 3 and 4 all seem like terrible ideas for a single parent.
You need a vehicle that’ll work.

And she had an X3 and a Cayenne. Why would go from the Porsche to a rag top Beetle?

A goddamnitIdontcareanymore.
Do they ever follow up?
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:08 |

Yes ... an even worse idea!

Perfect for the single mom with one car.

IMHO - The best car buys are by what you want, not what others tell you to buy. Granted, asking for advice on reliability and such is just fine, but nobody should be basing an expensive buying decision based on the likes of others. lol

Nope they could be taking pictures of random people and fabricating the whole story.

I don’t disagree. This is a silly series.

Because it’s not slow, is fun and driver orientated?
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:13 |

Think she’ll notice?
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:14 |

Doubtful.
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:15 |

I still stand by my answer of WRX.

Tell her it’s a Porsche and I think we’ve saved the world from her taste.

Yeah that’d be way better then suggestions 2, 3 and 4.

Dat crash safety tho!
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:18 |

She’s looking for a driver oriented vehicle. She has the necessary skillz to avoid a crash in the first place.

This about sums it up.
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:21 |

Literally perfect.
![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:23 |

![]() 12/08/2016 at 15:24 |

Without a doubt.

Well, that’s finally creating content.

German, character, more space and fun to drive?
Or if she has more budget:

It’s nice to hear others opinions just in case they can think of a car you never thought of. Like you, you may say a Smart is perfect. I had never thought of one as a real car until I read your opinions on them.

When was the last time you saw a car enthusiast act logically in their car buying choices?
I have a friend who once only owned a ‘79 Pontiac Firebird (this was in the mid ‘00s). He was constantly working on it and decided he should get a more reliable car to drive while he fixed the Firebird. He bought a ‘71 Pontiac Lemans. And then proceded to put ram air IV heads on it, hotter cam, long tube headers, 4bbl carb, and spent all of his time after that working on figuring out how to tune a holley and why his brake lines were boiling.

Well put.
![]() 12/08/2016 at 16:51 |

That’s a valid counterpoint. I have to agree! :)
ETA: I’ll never call a smart perfect. lol
![]() 12/08/2016 at 16:57 |

Well I meant perfect from a replacement standpoint not reliability.

She’s asking for a reason:
